1: Police Break Up Fight at Chuck E Cheese Near Bridgeville

Find out what's happening in Chartiers Valleywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Numerous police officers were called to Chuck E Cheese on Sunday night for a fight in which an irate woman was allegedly shouting obscenities around young children. Collier police said they were dispatched to the restaurant in Chartiers Valley Shopping Center around 8 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight inside.

2: Loose Dog Killed By Car in Bridgeville

A pit bull that was running loose in Bridgeville was hit and killed by a car on Bower Hill Road earlier this month. Bridgeville police said the dog was running loose around 10 p.m. on Oct. 5 when it was struck by a car at Bower Hill Road and Liberty Street.

3: Greentree Road Closing For Construction

Greentree Road near Old Washington Pike will be closed for the next four weekends as construction crews rebuild the roadway. PennDOT announced construction work will occur between the Greentree Road bridge over Chartiers Creek and the railroad crossing next to Ducky’s Car Wash.

4: Bridgeville Man Accused of Molesting Young Girl Heading to Trial

The Bridgeville man accused of molesting a 3-year-old girl will head to trial on all the sexual assault counts and several drug charges. Russell K. Forrest III, 27, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child by a guardian. Allegheny County Police detectives said he touched the young girl’s genitals, causing internal injuries and bleeding on Aug. 14.

A Coca-Cola vending machine was stolen earlier this month in Scott Township and apparently sold for scrap. Scott Township police said the machine was left unsecured outside a duplex in the East Carnegie neighborhood.
