New Skin Care Specialty Store Opens

Tracy's Treats offers handmade, premium beauty products

Tracy's Treats, a brand new specialty store, is now open and joining the family of unique shops that line the streets of Bridgeville.

After spending years at various kiosk locations around Pittsburgh and building a thriving online company, Tracy Artman decided to open her first permanent retail location at 503 Washington Ave.

It's obvious, upon entering the store, the pride and passion Artman has in her business. This thriving skin care product store reminds people that everyone deserves to be pampered, even if just for a few minutes a day. The entire atmosphere sung to the senses, without overloading them. I'm not sure if it were the crisp clean lines of the displays or the happy and inviting colors of the decor, but Tracy's Treats was definitely a welcoming place to shop for gifts for myself and loved ones. Neatly and beautifully packaged, each of her skin care products are offered in a multiple choices of scents and unscented formulas. She uses natural ingredients and premium oils and fragrances.

I met with Artman to learn more about her unique line of skin care items, and her enthusiasm is contagious and product knowledge is first class. She spent time describing the differences in lotions to me, giving me tips and suggestions based on my own personal needs. She shared stories of other customers and offered tips. As other customers streamed in, she gave them the same generous considerations and high level of customer service.

Tracy's Treats opened earlier this month, but already has a following of locals. In addition, some shoppers have traveled from as far as Greensburg, attesting to the loyalty to her products. The Bridgeville store doubles as the production location, offering variety and convenience to local shoppers.

"The people here have made a point to make me feel welcomed, " Artman said. "They took time to stop in just to say hello and introduce themselves. I plan on being here a very long time."

With her dedication to details and exceptional products, I'm sure she will be well into the future. Stop in to check out her items and try a sample of her Shea Butter Lotions, Soaps and Body Sprays.

Tracy's Treats is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or view her products online at mytracystreats.com and Facebook.
