A new Jazzercise fitness center is opening in Scott Township later this month.
The center that teaches the high-tempo dance fitness routine will hold a grand opening “Girls Night Out” ceremony on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at its new location at 1100 Washington Avenue near Carnegie.
The center offers 42 classes each week and will have a special for new customers that removes the normal $50 initiation fee for new members if they join from Dec. 1 to 3 during it’s Grand Opening sale.
The Jazzercise fitness center is moving from its former location in Carnegie in order to expand and serve more customers.
“Jazzercise is so popular in Carnegie that we found it necessary to move to a bigger facility with more amenities,” said Tamara Dzeskewicz, who is the owner and an instructor. “We can now offer our customers a great workout in a brand new fitness center and expand our class offerings.”
The hour-long Jazzercise classes offer a combination of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and Latin-style movements set to a variety of popular music. Each class includes a warm-up, high energy aerobic routines, muscle toning and cool down stretch segment for people of all ages and fitness levels.
