A new Pure Barre studio is opening in Scott Township this January.
The studio will feature ballet barre workouts that have exploded in popularity since its inception in 2001.
Focusing on the body parts women struggle with the most, the Pure Barre workout lifts the seat, tones the thighs and upper body, and creates the long and lean muscles of a dancer through small isometric movements centered around a ballet barre.
The studio located at 1612 Cochran Road will operate seven days a week, offering several classes a day. Melissa Evancic is the owner.
Since Pure Barre started franchising in 2009, more than 100 studios have opened nationwide. The Scott Township location will be Pennsylvania's fourth studio. There is one other Pure Barre located in East Liberty.
"We are thrilled to open our newest location in Mt. Lebanon and bring the excitement and results of Pure Barre to its residents," stated Carrie Dorr, founder and chief concept officer of Pure Barre.
