The figures are the mean (average) income as reported in the U.S. Census Bureau's most recent American Community Survey covering the five-year period from 2007-2011. There is a margin of error ranging up to 4.1 percent.

BRIDGEVILLE BOROUGH

  • The township's estimated 2,522 households have a mean income of $52,032.
  • An estimated 65.5 percent of households have earned income. For those 1,653 households, the mean earnings are $61,070.
  • An estimated 38.4 percent of households rely on Social Security money. For those 968 households, the mean income from Social Security is $15,065.
  • An estimated 25.3 percent of households rely on retirement income. For those 637 households, the mean income is $11,765.
