Advance Auto Parts, Panera Bread Coming Soon to Chartiers Valley Shopping Center

Several stores in the plaza are making exterior improvements.

Two new businesses are coming to the former site of CiCi's Pizza in Chartiers Valley Shopping Center, and they are expected to open by the end of the year.

The building shell will house an Advance Auto Parts store as well as a Panera Bread. The site is under construction now, and several other store fronts in the plaza are getting a face lift.

According to Collier Township manager Sal Sirabella, the exterior shell of the stores will be finished by the end of October, and then crews working on behalf of Panera and Advance Auto will finish the interiors. Both stores are expected to open by the end of 2013, he said.

The shopping center is owned by Kossman Development, which is completing exterior construction on the new stores. Sirabella said 8,670 sq. ft. was demolished—the portion that housed Cici Pizza—and that 5,908 sq. ft. of additional space will be added for a total of 14,578 sq. ft. new retail space when complete.

What do you think of a new Advance Auto Parts and Panera Bread coming to the area? Are you glad to see this chain store moving in, or would you rather see a small business in the area?
