Emergency Units from Multiple Communities Respond to Bridgeville

Multiple roads are closed in Bridgeville and the Chartiers Valley area.

UPDATE (July 10 11:22 a.m.): Per Bridgeville Police Department, McLaughlin Run Road was briefly open but has closed a second time due to an ongoing issue. McLaughlin Road is currently closed.

Three outside departments have responded to Bridgeville Borough to aid with severe flooding issues Wednesday morning.

According to Bridgeville Police Department, fire and rescue units from Beaver Falls, Robinson and Peters Township are assisting Bridgeville units.

As of 10:44 a.m. on July 10, Railroad and Baldwin streets are closed and are under about four feet of water.

McLaughling Run Road and Carroll Avenue are closed, and the lower portion of Bower Hill Road is closed to all except emergency vehicles.

In surrounding areas, parts of Boyce Road and Thoms Run Road also are closed.
