New School Visitor System in Place at CV Schools

Several new programs and policies will be in effect this school year.

New programs and policies will be in place at several local schools when students start school this fall, and one new policy at Chartiers Valley schools directly impacts school visitors.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that Chartiers Valley School District is implementing RaptorWare Visitor Software, which will require all visitors to all school buildings to present and swipe a driver's license, which will be checked against a database.

Visitors will then be issued a temporary visitor ID card with a photo.
