New Faces in CV District as School Year Begins

There are staffing changes and new employees in the Chartiers Valley School District.

As the Chartiers Valley school year begins, several new employees are starting their roles in the district and some current employees are in new positions.

Here are some of the changes:

  • Stephanie Faith is the new Assistant Principal at Chartiers Valley Primary School. Faith previously served as the principal of State Street Elementary School in the Ambridge School District.
  • Leah O’Malley is the new guidance counselor at Chartiers Valley High School. O’Malley previously served as a long-term substitute guidance counselor in Mt. Lebanon and Peters Township school districts, and at the Beattie Career Center in Allison Park.
  • Justin Leidy, a certified K-12 reading specialist, N-12 special education teacher and 7-9 English teacher, was hired as a regular education teacher at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School. Leidy previously served as a seventh grade language arts teacher at Connellsville Junior High East.
