'Rocky Horror Picture Show' Playing at Hollywood Theater
Stephen Chbosky, the Upper St. Clair native who is the author of the novel "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," will be at the Hollywood Theater Saturday for the special showing.
It's not often that a major Hollywood movie is filmed in your hometown, and it's probably more rare that the director would come back months later for a visit.
That's what Stephen Chbosky is doing this Saturday, when he will host a special showing of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at Dormont's Hollywood Theater.
Chbosky, an Upper St. Clair native, is the author of the 1999 novel "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." He also directed the movie, which was partly filmed at Dormont's Hollywood Theater last year and hit theaters this month.
