Your Input Needed: Connector Trail Planned for Settler's Cabin Park

There's a public meeting Tuesday about the new Settler's Cabin Panhandle Connector Trail, and officials want your input on the design.

County officials want input from residents about a valuable community resource: Settler's Cabin Park.

A public meeting will be held Tuesday, July 30 to discuss the design of the new Panhandle Connector Trail. Officials from Allegheny County and from the county Parks Foundation plan to gather and consider public input about the new trail, which will connect Settler's Cabin Park to Walkers Mills in Collier Township.

Officials will present the details of the project, including existing conditions in the area and design options, and then will open the meeting for public comment.

The public meeting will be held at the Collier Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
