Work Ethic, Respect and Beer: Things Our Dads Taught Us

Father's Day musings, from Bridgeville to Brookline.

"Treat everyone with respect."

"Turn the lights off when you leave the room!"

"You can open a beer with anything—and here's how."

Dads teach us many things, and Patch is celebrating Father's Day by collecting their best advice.

From Bridgeville to Brookline, people went on camera this week to tell Patch which "Dad lessons" have stuck with them through the years. Check out their answers in the video above.

Father's Day is Sunday, June 16.

What's one thing that your father taught you? Tell us in the comments, or share a story about your dad on the Boards.

This video includes interviews with Andrew Huwe of Huwe Chiropractic, Nancy Martincic of Bridgeville Public Library, Chris Rickert of Eljay's Used Books, Jason Sarasnick of Sarasnick's Hardware, Rick Lawrence of Beach Treats Gifts and Ben Haake of Cannon Coffee.
