Bridgeville's Triangle Park will be decorated with colorful lights Friday night for the borough’s annual Winter Blast festival.
There will be ice carvings, a bonfire supervised by the volunteer fire department, music provided by Froggy Radio, food, hot cocoa, holiday raffles and the Chartiers Valley High School choir.
Of course, the most popular part of the evening will be the lighting of the park and arrival of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on a fire truck. They’ll greet all the good little girls and boys in the pavilion.
The events start at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 and continue until 8:30 p.m.
The Bridgeville Area Historical Society inside the train station and caboose will also be open during the Winter Blast.
