Where Can You Park on Bridgeville Day?

Town gets crowded on Bridgeville Day. Here's where it's safe to park, and where parking is prohibited.

Bridgeville Day is Saturday, June 15, and if you've been to the festival in the past, you know that parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Washington Avenue will be closed from the Bower Hill Road intersection to the Hickman Street intersection. The first block of Hickman Street will closed, but parking is allowed on the rest of the street.

Visitors are allowed to park on residential streets, and there will be no ticketing or meter collection on June 15.

According to the Bridgeville Borough office, here are the parking "do's" and "don'ts" during Bridgeville Day:

  • Parking Lot #2, the large lot near Burgh's Pizza and Wing, is closed due to festival activities.
  • Parking Lot #1, near PNC Bank, is closed because that lot is hosting the annual car cruise.
  • Parking Lot #5, the lot behind Sauce, will be open for public parking.
  • The metered spaces on Railroad Street, across from Tambellini's Restaurant, will be open for public parking.
