What's Open & What's Closed on Easter Weekend?

Holy Week is in full swing and Easter is fast approaching for Sunday, March 31!

With a holiday comes the closing of numerous area institutions, businesses and libraries.

Here's a rundown of what's open or closed this holiday weekend...

• The Chartiers Valley School District is closed for spring break starting on Thursday, March 28. Classes will resume again for students on April 2.

• The South Fayette Library is closed on Friday, but will be open again during normal operating hours on Saturday.

• The Scott Township Public Library will be open on Good Friday, but will close Saturday. It will reopen on Monday.

• The Bridgeville Public Library will be open during normal operating hours on both Friday and Saturday.

• South Hills Village will be closed on Easter.

• The U.S. Post Office in Bridgeville is open on Good Friday.

• Port Authority's bus, T and incline service will follow regular weekday schedules on Good Friday, but the Downtown Service Center on Smithfield Street will be closed in observance of the holiday. On Saturday and Easter Sunday, the transit service will follow Saturday and Sunday schedules, respectively.
