An interactive map at the Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks website offers a glimpse at median household incomes, by neighborhoods, in Bridgeville, Collier, Heidelberg, Scott, South Fayette or anywhere in the country.

Take, for instance, the two Census tracts that include Bridgevlle. The eastern side of the borough has a median income level of about $42,000, while the neighborhood to the west of Route 50 has a median income level of $29,000.

Scott Township has a median income level that ranges from $35,000 to $67,000.

Most of Collier Township is has a median income level of about $65,000.

In comparison, South Fayette’s median income level varies from $57,000 to $92,000 depending on which side of Interstate 79 you live.

 In comparison, the statewide middle-class income range is $44,750 and $54,425. The information for the map is obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2007-2011 American Community Survey.
