Temperatures Expected to Plummet in Pittsburgh

Forecasters were predicting temperatures to drop down to 40 degrees Wednesday before tumbling below freezing Wednesday night.

Forecasters were predicting temperatures to drop down to 40 degrees Wednesday before tumbling below freezing Wednesday night.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northeast after midnight.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 44. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph.
