Summer Food Service Program for Kids Offered in Carnegie
SummerFood is a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children and youths ages 18 and younger.
The Allegheny County Department of Human Services will operate SummerFood, a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children and youths ages 18 and younger in economically disadvantaged communities beginning this week.
Nutritious breakfasts and lunches will be available for eligible children on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carnegie Towers at 820 Capitol Dr. The meals will be available through Aug. 16.
Breakfasts are also available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Chartiers Boys and Girls Club at 630 Washington Ave. through Aug. 9.
