Roller Coaster Temperatures Expected in Pittsburgh This Week

You better buckle your seatbelt with the wild ride of temperatures expected in the Pittsburgh area this week.

Tuesday is looking incredible with a high around 67, although there is a good chance of rain in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

However, the temperatures nose dive on Wednesday with the high expected to barely hit 40 degrees. The low will bottom out Wednesday night around 23.

Tuesday: Showers likely, mainly after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. South wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Showers, mainly before 3am. Low around 38. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 40. West wind 6 to 11 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
