Register for Race for the Cure at South Hills Village This Weekend

Representatives from Susan F. Komen Pittsburgh will be on hand to help.

Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh representatives will be at South Hills Village this weekend to sign up people for the 2013 Race for the Cure.

Registration and T-shirt pickup is available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.

In addition to South Hills Village, Komen staff and volunteers will also be at the Kohl's on Route 228 in Cranberry Township, Monroeville Mall, Ross Park Mall and The Mall at Robinson.

If someone wants to register but misses their chance this weekend, registrations are also available at the University of Pittsburgh's Posvar Hall Galleria from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 29.

Online registration is also available through May 8.

The race itself is on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12 at Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park. This is the 21st Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure.

The website shows that the walk-in registration fees are as followed:
$25 - Adult  15 + Untimed Events
$30 - Adult  15 + 5K Chip-Timed Run
$30 - Sleep in for the Cure
$15 - Breast Cancer Survivor, Any Event
$15 - Youth 14 & Under, Untimed Events
$20 - Youth 14 & Under, 5K Chip-Timed Run
$10 - Babies for the Cure
