Rain Can't Dampen Oktoberfests

Heidelberg and Collier had great festivals over the weekend.

The chilly and wet weather couldn’t dampen this weekend’s Oktoberfests in Heidelberg and Collier Township.

moved its festivities into the where polka bands rocked, hot dogs were downed and beer flowed freely.

In , vendors braved winds and rain at the while bands played inside the community center.

My editor, Tim McAteer, and I met a lot of great people and had a really good time at both events. Thanks for coming up to greet us while we enjoyed the festivities with all of you.

Thanks for promoting Collier and Heidelberg Oktoberfest, Mike. However, I can only vouch for Collier when I say it looked like everyone who turned out for the festivities had a great time and many stayed til the last song..... It was great!!! Mary Lou Kientz, Collier Parks and Recreation.
