Power Restored to Route 50 in Collier Township

Power was still out in the area as of 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Power has been restored to the Route 50 corridor in Collier Township, which as of Thursday morning, was still dark after Wednesday's storms.

Residents reported that shopping center were still dark and traffic lights were out as of 6:30 a.m. Thursday, the morning after severe thunderstorms storms downed power lines and caused flooding throughout the area.

Per Valerie Salla in the Collier Township municipal offices, the outage was restored Thursday morning.

Salla said the only township road that remains closed is Boyds Run Road.
