Patch Pets: Meet Shilo

This little girl at the Animal Rescue League needs a home.

Shilo is a 2-year-old Pit mix with a pretty brindle coat and friendly demeanor. She responds to β€œsit,” particularly if you're holding a treat!

Shilo was found as a stray by a family who kept her a few days before bringing her to our shelter. During that time, Shilo did live with kids and got along great with them. They couldn't tell if she is fully house trained, so any prospective adopters should be willing to give her a refresher course in that area. Some additional training in leash walking would be good, too.

Shilo is very playful and enjoys chasing balls and other toys. She's a sweet, affectionate young dog who should fit well in many households.
