'Oktoberfest' on Tap for Heidelberg Borough

There's still space for vendors—applications are available until Sept. 16.

It's still September, but one local community already is thinking about October.

Heidelberg Borough's Oktoberfest celebration is happening on September 28 from 1 to 8 p.m.

Live music by Mansfield 5 with Carl Stocker, Don Wojtila Polka Band, Karl Lukitsch & Autobahn, and Helen Matlak will be featured throughout the day.

Dancing, German and American foods and beers, craft vendors and activities for children are part of the event, and the evening wraps up with a Zambelli Fireworks display at 8 p.m.

Oktoberfest will be held at Heidelberg Park at 600 Industry Way. Admission and parking are free.

Craft vendor applications will be accepted until Sept. 16. Each spot is 12’x12’ and costs $25.

For a full Oktoberfest schedule and details, as well as a vendor registration form, see the Oktoberfest page on the Heidelberg Borough website.
