Neville House to Host Antiques Show

Forty antiques dealers will be at the historic home to show and sell their collection.

The Neville House off Washington Pike in Collier Township is giving you a chance to own a piece of history.

A special “Antiques Show and Sale” will be held at the Neville House Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3 and proceeds will benefit the Neville Museum.

The Antique Show will feature 40 diversified antiques dealers in an outdoor setting adjacent to the Neville House, the restored home of John and Presley Neville, two of Western Pennsylvania’s most influential citizens.

and gave it to his son, Presley, to live in. The home was owned by three families since the 18th century until it was sold to the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation in 1975. The Neville House Associates took ownership in 2007 and care for the property.

is located near the Kirwan Heights exit of Interstate 79. Take the exit, turn left at traffic light on Route 50/Washington Pike and drive a quarter-mile until you see the Neville House on your left.

Woodville is open to the public year round. The grounds are open for self-guided tours Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The house is open for guided tours every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
