Grab and Go Kids Planner: Feb: 17 - 20

This weekend, families can catch a movie, take a cooking class or spend the day at Chuck E. Cheese!

Welcome to our new Grab & Go Kids Planner! Each week, the Chartiers Valley Patch will assemble a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and places to try out with the family.

We know you are busy, so we are happy to give you all the details on what's happening around you! We have done the research and have found the top five best things to do or places to go, both locally and within a reasonable distance. 

Look for the Grab & Go Kids Planner every week and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips. Just add them to the comments box below! Even if you disagree with our picks, please tell us. We want to hear from you!

This is a reminder to all 5th Grade Parents that there will be an orientation in the Middle School Auditorium.

 

What: Gnomeo & Juliet - 3D

When: 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6:05 p.m., 8:05 p.m.,10:05 p.m. Friday

Where:

Cost: Prices Vary with Showtime

Enjoy a family movie night or day! Gnomeo & Juliet is a charming take on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This movie is perfect for the whole family!

 

What:

When: 1 - 4 p.m Saturday

Where:

Cost: $40

Your whole family will bond over this cooking class! The menu includes cinnamon rolls, nutty monkey bread and more! Register now!

 

What:

When: 12 - 2 p.m.

Where:

Cost: Free

Have knitters in the family? This is a casual program for all levels of experience! Mothers and daughters are sure to bond over their craft while learning new tips and techniques.  Call to sign-up!

 

What: A Day At Chuck E. Cheese

When: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday

Where:

Cost: Prices Vary

Get out of the house and enjoy a fun day with the kids! Chuck E. Cheese has so much to do that parents will even join in on the excitement.
