5 Things to Do This Spring Weekend

Here are five events to check out this weekend. Go to a community garage sale, have a tea party or play Bingo.

1.
Where?/When?: , 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday
Why Go?: Come out for the Heidelberg Garage Sale Day! It's a great opportunity to meet your neighbors while buying and selling treasures! Take advantage of a day where all can participate in a garage sale at your home or business.

2.
Where?/When?: ,  10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Spring has sprung! Your child will love building the Picture Frame Planter and personalizing it with photos. Plant something together!

3.
Where?/When?: , 2 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Bring your favorite American Girls and support the library at this special event. Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, nieces and any other special girls in your life are invited to don elegant attire and come to the library for tea. Dolls are welcome too.
Pricing: Tickets are 2 for $15, $5 for each additional guest and may be purchased at the library.

4.
Where?/When?: , 7 to 8 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Book Bingo is for grades K-8 with an adult. Bring the family for great fun with bingo. Seating is limited so call 412-429-5380 to register.

5.
Where?/When?: 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: On Sunday, May 13, 2012, join Woodville Plantation's laundress as she presents the unique methods of washing and ironing clothes and linens in the 18th century. Included are some very unusual methods for removing stains. Guests are invited to bring their mothers in celebration of Mother's Day.  
Pricing: Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 6-12, free for kids under 6.
