Freeze Warning Issued for Chartiers Valley Area Monday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the Chartiers Valley area Monday morning. The warning goes into effect at 1 a.m. until 9 a.m.

The temperature is expected to dip into the 20s.

Here's a closer look at the detailed forecast:

  • Sunday Night: Isolated showers before midnight. Patchy frost after 1 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
  • Monday: Isolated showers after 11 a.m. Patchy frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 51. West wind 8 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
  • Monday Night: Patchy frost after 2 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Tuesday: Patchy frost before 10 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 62. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
