Lawsuits filed on the two-year anniversary of the LA Fitness shooting.

Four victims of the LA Fitness shooting two years ago have filed notices intending to sue and estate of the shooter.

Jackquilyne Gallagher, Ashley Ferragonio, Lisa Fleeher and Gretchen Lewis filed their lawsuits in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court on Thursday, which was the second-anniversary of the shooting that killed three women and injured nearly a dozen others.

George Sodini, who lived in Scott Township, opened fire on women participating in a classroom workout at the gym on Aug. 4, 2009. Sodini then killed himself before police from numerous area departments responded to the chaotic scene at Great Southern Shopping Center.
