UPDATE: 9:22 p.m. - More good news! The missing cat who went missing from her Green Tree home last week has been found and reunited with his family!

A Green Tree family is searching for a missing cat that left a week ago and hasn’t returned home.

Brutus is 18 months old and weighs about 11 pounds.

He lost his collar in the driveway, so he has no identification. The cat was last seen in the Sheldon Avenue area of Green Tree.

“The family is worried (or hoping) someone thought he was a stray and took him to a shelter,” said Janice Adamski, who is a Green Tree borough official. “They've looked for him and none of their neighbors have seen him.”

Anyone with information on Brutus is asked to contact Animal Control at 412-279-6911.

Patch helped reunite a missing dog with her family in Bridgeville earlier this week.

Great News! After spending some time with a very nice lady through the woods on the other side of Green Tree, Brutus has been reunited with his family.
