Casino to Host Steelers Tailgate Party

The fun starts Sunday afternoon and proceeds benefit the Flight 93 Memorial Fund.

Are you ready for some football?

Officials from have announced that the Washington County venue will host a tailgate party on the racetrack—allowing fans to watch on the Jumbotron as the Steelers take on the Ravens Sunday.

Fans can join Steelers greats Rocky Bleier, Louie Lipps, Mike Merriweather and Robin Cole for the event, and enter for chances to win Pittsburgh Steelers tickets and other prizes every quarter.

Admission is free and The Meadows will also offer $2 tailgate food and beer specials.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Flight 93 Memorial Fund, according to a release.

Officials said the kickoff party will be the first of many tailgate celebrations this season. Each week through the NFL season, Silk's Lounge (located at The Meadows) will feature different Steelers greats.

When the Steelers take on the Seattle Seahawks Sept. 18, the party will feature Greg Lloyd, a five-time time Pro-Bowl former Black-and-Gold player.
