Carnegie-Collier Rotary to Host SIP for Hunger of Body and Mind

All money raised at the benefit is used to fund charitable projects in the community.

The annual Carnegie-Collier Rotary SIP for Hunger of Body and Mind 2013 will be held Oct. 5th at Chartiers Country Club.

The Fourth SIP event will be a Harvestfest celebration. Tickets are $100 per person and will include artisan beer and specialty wine tasting, a seasonal dinner, live music and shopping.

All money raised at the annual benefit is used to fund charitable projects to help the local community. Some of the projects funded are: dictionaries for all third grade students at Carnegie Elementary and Chartiers Valley, Shoes that Fit – purchasing new back to school shoes for children in need, programs for disabled residents and veterans, supporting the food banks, and contributing to scholarships for qualified local students, among others.
