Another Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Pittsburgh

As much as 3 inches of snow is expected within a 12-hour window, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Pittsburgh area from 3 a.m. through 3 p.m. Saturday.

“Light snow will overspread the area late tonight with an inch possible by dawn,” the website stated. “Light snow will continue to fall into the afternoon with an additional 1 to 3 inches possible.”

Temperatures are expected to hover in the upper 20s and low 30s Saturday, according to the NWS.

Drivers are reminded that road conditions could be hazardous, the website indicates.
