Why Go?: Enjoy a dinner at Chick-Fil-A in South Hills and tell your cashier that you're supporting St. Clair Hospital Foundation and the Hospital will receive 20 percent of the sale. Also, meet the author of Wilson Gets Adopted, Susan Castriota, for a special book signing. A portion of book sales will benefit .

Why go?: The Bridgeville Public Library invites all Scrabble fanatics to an afternoon of friendly competition. The program is open to all.

Why Go?: The National Geographic Little Explorers Club is coming to Pottery Barn at the Galleria in Mount Lebanon. This week, the topic is turtles! Children, ages 3 and up, will learn all about ocean creatures through hands-on activities, quizzes, songs and more!

Why Go?: This event includes container gardening with Doug Oster, followed by the Plant Swap. Doug Oster is the co-host/producer of The Organic Gardeners radio show on KDKA. Participants can swap anything "garden," not just plants, such as pots, stepping stones, statuary, seeds, gardening magazines and books. There will be a door prize of Doug Oster's book - Tomatoes Garlic Basil, The Simple Pleasures of Growing and Cooking Your Garden's Most Versatile Veggies. No registration is required!
