5 Things To Do This Weekend

Here are 5 things you should know about this weekend.

1.
Where/When: Mt. Lebanon Ice Center, 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Friday
Why Go: Bring the family for an afternoon of ice skating and enjoy the special effects lighting, DVD videos and arcade games. Back to school is the theme for the afternoon.
Pricing: $4.75 admission, $2 skate rental.

2.
Where?/When?: Pottery Barn Kids at The Galleria, 10 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The National Geographic Little Explorers Club is coming to The Galleria of Mt. Lebanon. This week, the club will focus on all things bugs! Children, ages 3 and up, will learn all about these creatures through hands-on activities, songs and more! Children will receive a badge for each event that they attend. Where/When: , 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Spring 2012 Baseball/Softball/T-ball Registration will be held in the Scott Park Community Room above Scott Pool.

4. Puppy Tales
Where?/When?: Bridgeville Public Library, Saturday, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Children in grades 1 through 5 can sign up for a 15-minute reading session with the therapy dogs, Zeke or Max! This program is perfect for kids that need extra practice with reading. Bring your favorite book to read.
Pricing: Free

Where?/When?: , 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Collier Township Athletic Association is beginning registration for spring youth baseball and softball. Click here to download an application to register.
