5 Things To Do This Weekend

Here are five events to check out this weekend.

Where?/When?: , 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Bridgeville first responders are sponsoring a blood drive at the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Hall on Jan. 28. To schedule your life-saving donation, please call Mary at 412-221-5651 after 6 p.m. or Kathy at 412-209-7622. You can also go to www.centralbloodbank.org and use sponsor code C5990005.

2.
Where?/When?: , 10 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Toddler Storytime is for ages 2 through 3 1/2. There will be stories, rhymes and songs!
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: , 1 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Need less stress and fatigue? Everyone needs more strength, toning, flexibility, and relaxation. Make yoga a regular part of your routine and reap the benefits! Join Connie each Saturday as she challenges your body to reach maximum potential.  All levels welcome!
Pricing: $7 per class

Where?/When?: , 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: Holy Child Catholic School will kick off Catholic School's Week with their Annual Open House.  The school will be open for tours and teachers will be available to speak with you.

Where/When:, Jan. 29 to Feb. 4
Why Go?: The Catholic Sisters of Western Pennsylvania are inviting the public to their homes to join them in service as they collect food for families in need. The Catholic Sisters of Western Pennsylvania are sponsoring a tri-county wide food drive during the week of Jan. 29 to Feb. 4.  The group’s most recent collaborative service project is being done in conjunction with the World Day of Consecrated Life on Feb. 5, a day set aside by the Roman Catholic Church to witness to women and men called to religious life, as well as honor the past, present, and future of consecrated life. Items collected will be distributed to local charities, including the Pittsburgh Food Bank, North Hills Community Ministries, St. Winifred’s Food Pantry in Pittsburgh’s South Hills, The Ladle in Ambridge, Little Sisters of the Poor, Our Lady’s Pantry at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Coraopolis, Vincent DePaul Food Pantry of Greensburg and Emmanuel Community Care Center in Ohio. for a list of collection sites.
Pricing: Food donation.
