Arts Festival, Soccer Clinic and Swimming

Here are five events to check out around Pittsburgh this weekend.

1.
Where?/When?: Point State Park, June 1 through 10
Why Go?: The 53rd Annual Dollar Three Rivers Arts Festival will feature activities for the whole family such as musical acts, artists markets, a creativity zone and more!

2.
Where?/When?: , 10:30 a.m. on Friday
Why Go?: This basic computer class kicks off this week. The class will be held on Fridays for the next four weeks. Call 412-221-3737 to register.

3.
Where?/When?: , 10 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Soccer Shots clinic is 30-minute soccer session. The funds raised from the clinic will be used for a soccer field being built by the US Soccer Foundation in an underserved area in the United States. The funds will also aid Amandla EduFootball, an organization that works in some of the most impoverished places in South Africa by serving youth through soccer programs, as well as mentoring and education provided alongside the sport. Pricing: A $10 donation is suggested and will be donated to Global Goals.

4.
Where/When: County Pools, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The county swimming pools will be open for the season. Take a dip at Settlers Cabin Park or South Park!
Pricing: $5 for ages 18-59, $3 for ages 60 & older, $4 for ages 13-17, $3 for ages 6-12, $1 for ages 0-5.

5.
Where?/When?: 300 Beechwood Ave, Carnegie, PA at 8 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Catch a Rising Star features the students of the Carnegie Performing Arts Center School performing many different dance forms including ballet, tap , jazz, modern and lyrical dance.
