Who Has The Best Burger In The Burgh?
Here's your chance to vote for the best places in town to get your favorite burger.
We know you have them in your brain: Those favorite shops you frequent again and again. The restaurants you recommend to your friends.
Well, here's your chance to tell your neighbors.
The first favorite we want to know about is hamburgers! Who's serving up the best burger in town? Six that come to mind are Bee’z, Sauce, Burgh’s, Bottle Shop Café, Damon’s and Applebee’s.
Then you can 'vote' for your favorite by leaving a review on the business's directory listing on Chartiers Valley Patch Places. The winner will be determined by the Patch local editor, based in large part on the reviews. And be nice: we'll only consider positive reviews in making our decision.
Make sure to vote by writing a review by 9 a.m. Friday. Patch Local Editor Mike Jones will decide the winner by the number and quality of reviews on each restaurant's listing (no nasty reviews, please).

Love me some Tessaro's! But when I don't want to drive 15 miles into the city, it's a toss-up between Sauce and Bee'z. I really like how Bee'z puts the two beef patties on a subway bun. And you can't go wrong at Sauce with a burger and skillet full of mac 'n cheese.

I had some people tell me on Twitter that they swear by Burgatory at the Waterworks. Never had it before. Do you know anything about that place?

In our opinion, the best Burger is at Carbonara's on Mt. Lebanon Blvd. every Tues. & Thurs. are their specials. A good second is Max & Irma's.

Someone in Upper St. Clair just told me Gab n Eat has the best burgers and I had never heard of it before. I'm going to have to check it out!

I've now been told the only wait to "vote" for you favorite burger is to go to the business listing page, write a short review and give it a rating. It's pretty easy to do, and can be exactly the same comment you wrote in this space. Here's the listings to Sauce: http://chartiersvalley.patch.com/listings/sauce - Burgh's: http://chartiersvalley.patch.com/listings/burghs-pizza-wing-pub - Gab & Eat: http://chartiersvalley.patch.com/listings/the-original-gab-eat-restaurant - Bee'z: http://chartiersvalley.patch.com/listings/beez-bistro-pub - Bottle Shop Cafe: http://chartiersvalley.patch.com/listings/pittsburgh-bottle-shop-cafe

I just noticed Gab & Eat's link. I was there once back in 2007 with a friend who insisted I have breakfast with him. I can't comment on the food ... all I can say is I wouldn't order any food there from what I saw. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you the booth type seat I sat on had the stuffings coming out of them. It wasn't the only booth seat I saw like that. I will not go any further with what else I saw.
