Collier Town Square in Collier Township

Collier Town Square has the perfect location on Route 50 near Thoms Run Road and boasts a wide variety of shops.

There’s a coffee shop, Chinese food restaurant, spa, bar and plenty of eateries, among many other businesses.

There currently are about 10 empty storefronts inside the shopping center, although new places such as Hollywood Tans and Smoke Cigar Shop have opened or are coming soon. The openings might be ripe for aspiring small business owners hungry to get a foothold in a growing economic area.

So what do you think should go into the vacant shops at Collier Township Square? What does this area need that it doesn’t already have nearby?

What would you like to see move into that area, or other vacant buildings in Bridgeville, Collier, Heidelberg and Scott?

Mike - I think it would be great to have a nice bakery, something similar to the candle shop that used to be there, etc. I like the Flower shop idea, I don't think the area has a nice florist that I'm aware of.

Great ideas. I wouldn't mind having a barber move into the plaza. Seems like they're becoming nearly extinct in this country.

There is a great barber shop in Great Southern Shopping center right down the road. Lets find something we do not have...like a good place for deli sandwiches.

Looks like the bugs have been fixed and your comment went through this time. Thanks for re-posting your thoughts. As for the barber shops: There just aren't enough of them. I tried going to that barber earlier this year and it was slammed. I know of another one in Bridgeville that is always busy, too. Us men need more barbers!
