Vandals Damage Scott Park Bathrooms

Park bathroom vandalized: Scott Township police said they are investigating after vandals damaged a restroom in Scott Park on Oct. 30.
Assault charges: Thomas K. Lopez, 47, of Scott, was charged with two counts of assault following a fight in the 500 block of Carothers Avenue on Nov. 4, township police said.
Theft charges: Scott Township police said they arrested Michael J. Wheeler, 26, of Bridgeville, on charges of theft and theft by deception on Oct. 31. Police did not elaborate on the reason for the charges.
Car vandalized: An unknown substance was thrown onto a car parked in the 300 block of Vanadium Road on Nov. 1, causing serious paint damage, Scott police said.
Retail theft charge: Jennifer Hammond, 39, of Scott, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 1 while at the Bottom Dollar along Washington Avenue, township police said.
Public drunkenness arrest: Mark A. Weiblinger, 52, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness after township police said they found him in the 300 block of Carothers Avenue on Nov. 2.
Retail theft charge: Scott Township police said Marie F. Walleck, 36, of Canonsburg, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 4.
Phony bill passed at bar: Scott police said they received a report that a counterfeit bill was passed at the H2O nightclub along Noblestown Road on Nov. 3.
