Steelers Gear Stolen From Bridgeville Bar

An Upper St. Clair man was cited after allegedly taking a Pittsburgh Steelers helmet from Castaway’s Bar in Bridgeville last month.
Bridgeville police said they received a call from a Castaway’s employee around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 that the decorative helmet was stolen from a shelf behind the bar.
Police said their investigation led them to 22-year-old Matthew Wholey. Wholey was not taken into custody, but officers cited him for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
Investigators said they recovered the helmet from Wholey’s house and returned it to the bar’s owner.
Two accused of egging Bridgeville apartment: Two people from Upper St. Clair were charged with disorderly conduct after Bridgeville police said they egged a borough apartment building and vehicle twice on Nov. 29. Police said Natalie Dandoy, 19, and a 17-year-old girl egged the building in the 600 block of Baldwin Street while driving by in their car. The 17-year-old girl was not identified because of her age.
DUI arrest: Adam Higgs, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop at Hickman Street and Washington Avenue in the early hours of Nov. 22, Bridgeville police said.
Disorderly conduct charge: Bridgeville police said they charged Mario Didiana, 24, of Carnegie, with disorderly conduct following a disturbance call at a Bank Street Extension apartment on Nov. 24.
Public drunkenness charge: A Carnegie woman was charged with public drunkenness last month after Bridgeville police said they found her “highly intoxicated” and medics had to take her to a local hospital for treatment. Barb McKenna, 53, was cited for public drunkenness after police found her in a Station Street parking lot on Nov. 24.
