In this week's police blotter, someone phones in a bomb threat to Walmart while a man exposes himself in Glendale for the second time in a month.
Police investigate bomb threat: Scott Township police said a bomb threat was made at Walmart in the early hours of July 21. A K9 unit searched the building, but found no explosive device. Police are investigating the threat, but believe it was a hoax.
Man exposes himself to woman: Scott police said they are looking for a man in his 50s who exposed himself to a woman walking across the Carothers Avenue Bridge on July 17. Police did not say if the incident is connected to the indecent exposure by a man near St. Joseph Cemetery in June.
Women accused of fighting: Michele Hite, 23, and Shannon O’Kelley, 36, both of Pittsburgh, were charged with harassment and disorderly conduct following a fight in the 200 block of Locust Street on July 20.
Drug charges: George Mitchell, 30, of Pittsburgh, was arrested in the early hours of July 16 after Scott police said they found him with suspected marijuana and prescription pills during a traffic stop on Locust Street.
Items stolen from parking lot: A baby stroller and wallet accidentally left behind in the Lowe’s parking lot on July 21 were stolen, Scott police said.
DUI arrest: Scott police said they charged Norbert Schwartzmiller, 39, of Pittsburgh, with drunken driving after officers stopped his car along Vanadium Road on July 21.
DUI charge: Timothy Lupori, 18, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving after Scott police said they stopped his car near Raceway Plaza on July 20.
DUI arrest: Scott police said they charged Gerard Kansa, 57, of Pittsburgh, with drunken driving after they stopped his car along Greentree Road on July 20.
Public drunkenness charge: Christopher Wilson, 21, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness after township police said they saw him staggering in the 2600 block of Greentree Road in the early hours of July 21.
Home burglarized: A home in the 200 block of Locust Street was burglarized in the early hours of July 19, Scott police said.
Unlocked car entered: Scott police said an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Magazine was entered in the early hours of July 16.
Juveniles damage parked car: Scott police said juveniles throwing rocks from the Veterans Bridge on July 19 damaged a parked vehicle.
Man charged in fight: Paul A. McCully, 30, of Heidelberg, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a fight at a Collier Avenue resident on July 18, borough police said.
Underage drinking charge: Heidelberg police said they charged Amanda Brandenstein, 18, of Pittsburgh, with underage drinking, identity theft and false identification after a traffic stop along Washington Street on July 18.
Electronics stolen in burglary: Collier police are investigating the burglary of a home in the 800 block of Scotts Run Road that was reported on July 20. Police said an Apple iPod and digital camera were stolen when a burglar pried open the front door with a crowbar.
Retail theft charge: Collier police said they charged Mandy Wokulich, 29, of Carnegie, with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal $67 worth of toiletries from Kmart on July 17 by putting them in her baby stroller.
Boy accused of stealing jeans: A 14-year-old Finleyville boy was charged with retail theft on July 18 after Collier police said he tried to leave Kmart while wearing jeans beneath is clothes.
DUI crash: Korey MacCarone, 18, of South Fayette, was charged driving under the influence of drugs after Collier police said he crashed into an power transformer along Manor Drive on July 19.
DUI arrest: Collier police charged Gary Wharton, 44, Rayland, OH, with drunken driving after officers said they stopped his car along Washington Pike on July 19.
More graffiti at local park: Collier police said they discovered more graffiti over the weekend at Skvarka Park. Police said it’s the second incident at the park by vandals this month.
