Man Exposes Himself Near Cemetery
A man dropped his shorts in front of Glendale residents while standing near St. Joseph Cemetery.
Scott Township police are investigating an indecent exposure incident after a man apparently dropped his pants in front of residents living in the Glendale neighborhood last week.
Scott police Chief Jim Secreet said the man pulled down his shorts and exposed himself while standing near St. Joseph Cemetery on Magazine Street around mid-afternoon on June 13.
A person who saw the incident called police about 30 minutes later. By then, the man, who is believed to be in his 40s, was gone and police had few other clues to find him, Secreet said.
“When we got there, no one was around,” Secreet said. “We haven’t had anything else since.”
Secreet said he’s not overly concerned since it has not occurred again in this area. Still, it’s one of the more bizarre incidents he’s heard of recently.
“Nothing like that,” Secreet said of strange incidents his police department has investigated over the years. “That’s unusual.”
Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Scott Township police at 412-276-7725.
