Police say a man vandalized a car by stealing the windshield wipers, letting out the air in the tires and smearing feces on one of the vehicles. Read about that and other crime in this week's police blotter.
Feces smeared on car: Clint Gastgeb, 32, of Bridgeville, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief on July 16 after borough police said he removed wiper blades off two cars, let the air out of the tires and smeared feces on one of the cars in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Drug charge: Bridgeville police charged David Bardella, 46, of Charleroi, with possession of drug paraphernalia and counterfeit documents following a traffic stop along Chess Street on July 12. Police said Bardella had several syringes, spoons, empty heroin seals and a bottle of urine in the car.
Man found in street: Robert Gallocher, 30, of Bridgeville, was charged with public drunkenness on July 13 after borough police said they found him in the roadway on Mill Street.
Disorderly charge: Bridgeville police said they charged 49-year-old Janet Gruda with disorderly conduct after they smelled marijuana coming from her apartment in the 400 block of Bank Street Extension on July 20.
Car theft: Juan Moyer, 49, of Bridgeville, was charged with motor vehicle theft after borough police said he took the car without a relative’s permission on July 21.
Retail theft charge: Traci Werner, 28, of Carnegie, was charged with retail theft, public drunkenness and possession of drugs after Collier police said she tried to steal $57 worth of merchandise from Kmart on July 23.
DUI crash: Collier police said they charged Maureen Dwyer, 31, of Venetia, with drunken driving after officers were called to a car crash along Noblestown Road Extension on July 26.
Fight leads to charges: Carlo Williams, 22, of Scott, and Ronald Kimmel, 51, of Aliquippa, were charged with assault and public drunkenness in the 100 block of Greenbriar Drive on July 25. Police said Williams was later charged with violating a protection from abuse order after he was released from jail and went back to the residence.
Boys charged with disorderly conduct: Four juvenile boys were charged with disorderly conduct after Scott police said they were found trying to open car doors parked along Spreading Oak Drive on July 23.
Gun stolen: A handgun inside a Boroview Avenue resident’s car was reported missing on July 25, Scott police said.
Drug paraphernalia: Scott police charged Jacob D. Moore, 18, of Bridgeville, with disorderly conduct after officers said they found a marijuana pipe in his vehicle during a traffic stop along Carothers Avenue on July 23.
Drugs found during traffic stop: Robert Parker, 43, of Bridgeville, Susanne Goolsby, 36, and Lori Blatz, 41, both of Carnegie, were charged possession of narcotics during a traffic stop along Washington Avenue on July 29, Scott police said.
DUI and underage drinking charges: Aaron Washington, 18, of Scott, was charged with drunken driving during a traffic stop at Greentree and Lindsay roads, township police said. Police said two passengers in the car, Jonathan Levy, 20, and Michael Zawilla, 19, of Carnegie, were charged with underage drinking.
Boy charged with fighting: A 16-year-old boy was charged with simple assault and harassment following a fight along Washington Avenue on July 29, Scott police said.
Marijuana blunt found during stop: Quentin Hutchinson, 29, of Pittsburgh was charged with disorderly conduct after Scott Township police said they found a marijuana blunt in his vehicle during a traffic stop on July 23.
Drunk and disorderly: Maurice Sha-Darrell Hayes, 31, of Homestead, was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on July 25, Scott police said.
Public drunkenness charge: David Grundler, 54, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness after township police said they found him sleeping on a Carothers Avenue sidewalk near Hill Street on July 29.
Stereo equipment stolen: A stereo audio bar delivered in the mail to a house on Clairview Drive was stolen on July 23, Scott Township police said.
Grill stolen: A grill was stolen from a yard in the 500 block of Orchard Street in the early hours of July 24.
Laptop missing from apartment: Scott police said a laptop computer was stolen from a Spikenard Street apartment on July 28.
