Glenn Scott Plaza Getting a Facelift

The Glenn Scott Plaza on Washington Avenue is getting a facelift.

Crews are out repainting the building and adding prominent towers on both sides to spruce up the shopping center on the outskirts of Carnegie.

A new Dollar Tree also recently opened in the strip mall.

The reconstruction comes about seven months after a car crashed through the front  of the Tomatoes pizza shop. However, the facelift is to make the strip mall more attractive and not tied to that crash.
