Flowers Sprout Out of Bridgeville's Streetscape Revitalization
Those orange cones on Route 50 in Bridgeville are slowly being replaced with beautiful flowers and plants. Revitalization
Those orange cones on Route 50 in Bridgeville are slowly being replaced with beautiful flowers and plants.
Bridgeville’s streetscape project is almost finished, and the biggest sign of that is the vegetation that is being planted in the soil next to the sidewalks where those cumbersome trees once stood.
Borough Manager Lori Collins could be seen working hard watering the bushes and flowers in the sidewalk planters.
Construction crews have worked throughout the summer replacing the sidewalks in Bridgeville’s main business district that were badly buckled by trees.
Workers also are also replacing the street lamps and upgrading them with LED lights.
The work is expected to be finished by the end of the week.

Really looks beautiful down by LaBella Bean, etc...Would be awesome if all the store fronts took part, and placed potted plants, window boxes or planted flowers along the pike through Bville...

@Rose... I've heard from the borough (and even some business owners) that they were waiting to see how the streetscape turned out before improving their storefronts. I know quite a few have already made improvements (the vet and pet crematory look great).

The plants/flowers look beautiful. Nice selection of plants. The hard work shows.
