Driver in Jeep Rollover Crash Charged with DUI

Scott Township police said they plan to charge the driver involved in the rollover crash last week near Vanadium Road with DUI.

 

Scott Township police said they plan to charge the driver involved in the rollover crash last week near Vanadium Road with DUI.

Police said Paul Herstek, 27, of Sharpsburg, was driving under the influence when he crashed his shortly before 11 p.m. on Aug. 24 near the Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

Herstek was injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital. Police did not say how seriously he was injured.

Herstek also faces charges of marijuana possession, other drug law violations and accident involving damage.

Police plan to send a summons with the charges in the mail to Herstek.
