District Court Rulings – 8/16

Read who got off the hook and who is going to trial on the charges after their preliminary hearing.

 

District Judge Gary M. Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township, while District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet  oversees Bridgeville, Collier and South Fayette.

 

District Judge Gary M. Zyra – 8/9

Charges held for court

  • Charges of theft and receiving stolen property against Sean S. Weaver, 44, of Scott, were held for court. Scott police arrested Weaver on June 7.
  • Drunken driving and reckless driving charges against William F. Volle Jr., 23, of McDonald, were held for court. Scott Township police arrested Volle on June 18.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Charges of terroristic threats, records tampering, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct against Rachel O. Gray, 23, of Scott, were waived to court. Heidelberg police charged Gray on March 17.
  • Drunken driving charges against Jake Black, 25, of Scott, were waived to court. Heidelberg police arrested Black on March 14.
  • Drunken driving and careless driving charges against Amanda Pancari, 34, of Collier, were waived to court. Heidelberg police arrested Pancari on June 2.

 

Charges reduced

  • A disorderly conduct charge against 29-year-old Keith Wilk was reduced to a non-traffic citation. Scott police originally charged Wilk on April 7.
  • A simple assault charge was withdrawn and harassment charge was reduced against Thomas K. Lopez, 47, of Scott. Scott police originally charged Lopez on Aug. 3.

 

 

District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet – 8/13

Charges held for court

  • Charges of simple assault, false imprisonment, harassment and criminal mischief against Corey C. Dunbar, 22, of Bridgeville, were held for court. Robbery and theft charges were dismissed. Bridgeville police charged Dunbar on July 27.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Multiple charges of forgery, conspiracy, access device fraud and receiving stolen property against Bjorn D. Carlgren, 24, of Pittsburgh, were waived to court. South Fayette police charged Carlgren on July 19.
  • A marijuana possession charge against Camaron T. Waugh, 19, of Pittsburgh, was waived to court. Collier police originally charged Waugh on May 21.
