A Chartiers Valley High School sophomore captured another WPIAL diving title this month.
Maria Lohman won the AAA diving championship and became the first diver in history to hold back-to-back WPIAL title. She won on Feb. 23 with a score of 467.60, according to Chartiers Valley’s official Twitter feed.
Maria also won the AA championship last year.
She now heads to the PIAA state championship in March.
Maria was featured on Chartiers Valley Patch last March after winning the WPIAL title in 2012.
