Attempted Break-In Leads to Gun Charges in Bridgeville

A caller reporting to police three people were trying to break-in to their Bridgeville home led to multiple arrests on gun charges.
Bridgeville police said they received the call on Feb. 3 from a resident in the 100 block of Union Street that three people were trying to get into the home.
“One of the people was a drug dealer known to carry a gun,” Bridgeville police said in a press release emailed to the media.
An officer responding to the call saw a car leaving the area and stopped it, holding it at gunpoint until other officers arrived. Police said they found a .40-caliber handgun in the car and arrested three people on numerous charges.
Ladontaries D. Gaston, 20, of Aliquippa, Terra Michaels, 21, of Pittsburgh, and Aaron L. Carter, 26, of Fairfax, VA, were all charged with carrying a firearm without a license, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property.
Police said Gaston was also wanted on warrants from Georgia.
All three people were taken to Allegheny County Jail.
Man arrested on drug outstanding charges: Brenton A. Dillon, 28, of Bridgeville, was arrested on Feb. 12 on an outstanding warrant for drug violations from last year, borough police said. During the arrest, police said they found Dillon in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. He faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
DUI hit-and-run: Michlae Sebrosky, 35 of Bridgeville, was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident and other traffic citations after borough police said Sebrosky crashed into two cars in separate locations on Jan. 30 and left the area both times.
Theft charges: Bridgeville police have filed theft charges against Maria N. Stringhill, 20, of Belle Vernon, after she allegedly took two electronic devices on Jan. 31 while staying at a friend’s house.
Jewelry theft: Bridgeville police charged 22-year-old borough resident Corey Dunbar with theft and receiving stolen property after investigators said he stole jewelry from a relative and then sold it to a pawn store on Feb. 7.
Police break-up fight: Bridgeville police said they arrested two borough residents following a fight in the 800 block of Mill Street on Feb. 13. Police said they arrived and found a man and two women with injuries inside the house. Police said they charged Robert Gallocher, 31, and Donna Emling, 32, with simple assault.
Assault charges: Shaun Ely, 31, of Bridgeville, was charged with simple assault following a fight on Hill Street on Feb. 2, borough police said.
Fight leads to charges: Michael T. Fende, 41, of Bridgeville, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment following a fight in a Baldwin Street apartment building on Feb. 11, borough police said.
Item broken at Bridgeville library: Bridgeville police said a person tried to steal an item from the Bridgeville Public Library last month, but broke it while trying to run from the building. Police said Ramonta Melvin Yancey, 19, of Pittsburgh, took the item on Jan. 12 before being chased by a library employee. He then dropped the item, causing it to break. Police charged Yancey with theft and criminal mischief.
